Skinner) established more than 50 years ago that ideas and reasoning are not the causes, but merely supplementary rationalizations of human behavior. Its true causes lie in operant conditioning formed by contingencies of reinforcement. Ideology alone is badly inadequate and insufficient - neither for creating a functioning socialist society nor for protecting it against the capitalist predators.

I tried hard (but probably failed) to get the staff of Venezuelan embassy in Berlin interested in behaviorism and the behaviorist technology of building socialist society from the scratch as a system of organically interconnected contingencies of reinforcement - the only way it can be built, as was proved by the failures of marxist Soviet-style socialism all around the world.

Every person who learned the basics of behaviorism is enabled to see clearly that human behavior changes only when and if the contingencies of reinforcement change. It is futile to expect people to behave in "class-conscious", "moral", "responsible", "honest" etc. ways if reinforcement (i.e. gratification, remuneration, approval, encouragement etc.) of this behavior is absent.

Behaviorists regard all fashionable talk about "false conscience", "structuralism", "social (de-)construction" etc. simply as scholastic nonsense.

US army positively reinforces their soldiers to be war criminals - and those discharged from it mainly become mercenaries to do the same dirty job later, being employed by private contractors. Mr. Simpson and Mr. Lewis belong to the tiny minority who got exposed to other contingencies of reinforcement (e.g. as university/college students) which were strong enough to change their behavior (at least for the time being). But far too many recruits, soldiers and mercenaries never have any chance to make this liberating experience.

If you search the Web for mercenary sites, you will realize that US/NATO imperialism gets mercenaries from all around the world, from Fiji to Uganda and from Norway to Argentina. It makes me deeply sad that Bolivarian revolution is not really much interested to attract volunteers from other countries - as military to defend it and as civilians to actively participate in building the socialist society.

You can find more on this subject at my web site - http://behaviorist-socialist.blogspot.com/ and in my letter "Bolivarian Revolution has the choice of either impotent ideologies or the old good "stick and carrot" recently published by "Venezuelanalysis" - http://www.venezuelanalysis.com/letter/4663. I would greaty appreciate your reply with suggestions of contacts with Venezuelan organizations interested in employing volunteers from abroad.

With best behaviorist-socialist regards,
Alexej Brykowski
Dipl.-Biochemist

evagolinger@gmail.com

evagolinger@gmail.com

Hola, Eva, nececito contactarla.
